The staff, resident internet site, amenities and outside environment make Lake Shore Plaza the ideal and exciting place to live.

It is a nice experience for the most part. Great staff and amenities. It is a in need of updating, but it offers great value for the location. I have really come to love Streeterville and Lakeshore Plaza represents the ultimate in value living.

I came across Lakeshore Plaza online, and instantly noticed that the price was very cheap compared to other units. I soon learned that their are Section 8 tenants in the building. This made me a little nervous at first...but after viewing the apartments, we signed a lease anyways. I have lived here for 4 months now and LOVE it! All the residents I've seen are very friendly, and not a concern at all like I was nervous about. The apartments are very nice. The closets are HUGE! We have a 1bedroom apartment, and it has 2 very large closets. The bedroom is also huge, I couldn't believe it. Things have broken occasionally in the apartment, but they are always fixed within a day or 2 by maintenance. My favorite part is the sundeck outside. The pool is amazing! It's even heated which is very nice. On top of that, there is a hottub with jets, and free grills to use. The sundeck with grills is on top of a previous tennis court which looks a bit funny, but that would be my only complaint outside. 1 or 2 of the doormen are friendly, but the others not so much. I haven't had to speak with Management, but have had no problems with them yet. For the price, I would definately recommend this place! I am only paying $300/month more than my old place in Lakeview, and for the extra, I get a way bigger/nicer apartment, pool/hottub, gym, and can walk to work. Love it!

I lived at Lake Shore Plaza for six years. The location is fantastic and the views are great. The doormen are fun, friendly and engaging. Maintenance is on site so any issues in the building are fixed promptly. There is a dry cleaners on site and laundry room in the basement. There is great deck with a pool and grills for the summertime! Although the building is over, during the time I lived there improvements were made (for example, repainting of halls, refurbishment of lobby, installation of new laundry machines, replacement of pool and pool furniture, addition of grills, installation of new light fixtures in the hallways). Furthermore, despite not having the most current appointments in the units, everything is clean and in working condition, and has a modern feel. This is a great, safe, convenient and quiet location to live in as a young or single person especially. You can make friends, and will love to entertain here!

This is a great building. The Habitat management staff has made some excellent changes such as the grills and new deck furniture. I would mention the Foodah dinners and the amenities that are included in the rent----that often cost extra in other buildings. In fact, I have friends who may be interested in a 2-bedroom after the New Year. The building is convenient to everything. I can walk, cab or take the CTA anywhere I need to go. There are oodles of shopping and dining options. Perhaps the best testimonial is the fact that I've lived here for nearly 18-years!

The apartments are modern and set up well to suit a polished lifestyle. The location is obviously wonderful with Lake Michigan and Michigan Avenue just steps away. I've made many friends among the other residents which add to the enjoyment of living here. Finally, I am completely comfortable starting a family and living at Lake Shore Plaza for the foreseeable future.
